A unique literary evening featuring six local women writers reading from their works will go on as planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday (SEPT. 16) at the Key West Museum of Art & History at the Custom House. Called Voices, the free reading is open to the public and comprises poetry and prose from Margit Biztray, Cricket Desmararis, J.T. Eggers, Kelly Everman, Teresa Foley, and Leigh Pujado. The event, which includes refreshments, is coordinated with the museum’s fifth annual Key Women Artists Exhibition and is made possible by a grant from the Florida Keys Council of the Arts.
