Hidden Amidst Stones

The Key West Art and Historical Society invites students to participate in a special photography project during spring break. Students will document headstones of prominent Key West historical figures of the early 1800’s using pinhole cameras. This project will take place during the week of March 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 2006 in the Key West Cemetery and at Fort East Martello Museum, 3501 South Roosevelt Boulevard. Each class is 2 1/2 hours long. Learn about black and white photography and darkroom techniques including developing and printing photographs. You may even photograph a ghost or two... Registration is open to students age twelve and older. Cost including all supplies is $75 with a 10% discount if you are KWAHS member. You may register by phone.
