Key West Art & Historical Society brings popular television appraiser
to Key West Antique Show and Sale

Carolyn Remmey will be coming to Key West to participate in the Key West Art & Historical Society’s third annual Key West Antique Show and Sale, Feb. 23-25, at the East Martello Museum.
Remmey is a participating guest appraiser on TV’s popular Antiques Roadshow and president of Remmey Antiques and Fine Art Appraisers, Auctioneers & Advisors in New Vernon, N.J. She is also a contributing writer for the Antiques Guide, Arts and Antiques, and Garden State Woman.
Appraisal by Remmey will be held at the Antique Show and Sale from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
A nominal fee of $20 will be charged for the appraisal and Remmey will donate the money generated by the appraisals to the Key West Art & Historical Society. Last year Remmey appraised jewelry, stamps, coins, paintings, prints, porcelain, glass, furniture, and textiles during the show.
This year, the more than 32 antique dealers will each have an item in the silent auction. As guests walk around the historic fort, they will discover everything from antiques to memorabilia and pop-culture collectibles, something in everyone’s price range, and they can bid on a variety of item set aside by each dealer for the silent auction.
Those attending the Key West Antique Show and Sale’s special early preview buying reception, 6-9 p.m. on Friday Feb. 23, will be the first to view and have the opportunity to buy antiques from the more than 32 dealers from around the United States. Last year more than 2,000 people viewed the show.
Tickets for the preview are $75 in advance (Tickets may be purchased online - just CLICK HERE) and $100 at the door. Ticket prices include cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and entertainment. Catering is being provided by Square One and musical entertainment by “Nancy 3.”
Tickets are $6 to enter the show on Saturday, Feb. 24, and Sunday, Feb. 25.
