Mission and Membership

Key West Art & Historical Society is a non-profit organization founded in 1949 that manages Fort East Martello Museum & Gardens, the Lighthouse & Keeper's Quarters Museum, and the Museum of Art & History at the Custom House.
Through private donations from individuals, foundations and corporations the Society keeps the museums, exhibitions and education programs operating and the historic sites clean and beautiful.
Your membership helps the Society fulfill its mission to promote the humanities, art and history of the Florida Keys, by educating, collecting, preserving, restoring and exhibiting significant art, artifacts and historic properties.
